I love it when it's raining!

I love it when its raining! Yes!
First, I do love raining because I can sleep well compare when its sunny day.

First reason why I love rainy days?
1. While raining I can sleep a lot.
2. Sometimes due to heavy rain, we have NO CLASSES! :DD

That's it! But our blog topic is all about, "What will you do when it's raining." When Miss A told us our blog topic, the first thing came into my mind is that "I'm going to sleep." Well, because I love sleeping. And aside from sleeping, while it's raining I want to go outside the house while it's raining. Then I want to eat hot noodles with egg cause I want doing that while raining.

Philippine Multimedia Industry

Honestly, when I heard at first the “Philippines Multimedia Industry” nothing came up into my mind, so I decided to search about it. I know it’s about the Multimedia Industry in the Philippines but I don’t know what I will write here, so as far as I read in the internet it tells us that the Multimedia Industry is improving because of the high technologies being launched and new technologies that makes our society more modern.

Just like in the Entertainment Industry they are more using Multimedia in doing their works. I think because Multimedia is about Video, Animations, graphics, text and Audio. By this meaning of Multimedia we can see that today in our modern society we were always using Multimedia even in our house and even in our projects in school, commercials, cartoons and many more. So by this we can see that Philippines had a big change because of this new Multimedia.

We all know that all of us were using Multimedia Even if we’re not a professional Multimedia Artist I think we people always used this, just like Audio, all of us love to hear music it is also called Multimedia. So as time goes by we need to have a change because we are now in our modern society that all of us people wants to have a modern kind of technologies of other Multimedia which is suitable in our modern society today. I think Philippine Multimedia Industry today is more improving and have more chances to be part of a Multimedia Artist Society because by this time we are now in modern society so we must keep on improving to be known in the society.

MMA Family

Before we have our vacation last second semester, we always talked about how many freshmen would choose MMA as their course, and were also hoping that at this time they are many compare to us. Until our vacation we always think about how many the MMA in the next school year, because we’re excited to meet new friends and also to have a large of MMA family in our school. When the orientation is approaching some of my classmates went to school just to see the freshmen of MMA, and they said they were shock because MMA have a lot of MMA freshmen.

At the same time, I am happy to have a lot of MMA students because I can meet new friends. So when I enrolled in LPU again, I have 1 subject left in my first year so I enrolled in that subject because at the same time I want to know 1^st year MMA a lot.

When we start our class in our Philippine Government with the first year, I am with Bebz and the first time we get into the room is so awkward because all of them is looking at you. But when the time goes by we got close to the first years cause we are 6 higher level in that subject so the time goes by we don’t have already the awkward feeling because I got new 2 friends in first year, so it lessen my shyness to the first year.

So I’m happy that we have a lot of MMA freshmen and meet new friends with them. And hopefully we got a lot of MMA freshmen again next school year. 

Changes.Changes.Changes

In my life there is a lot of changes like changes in subject that I need to cope up and understand each subject so that in each changes you’ll learn another things that you’ll used in your future jobs or you can used while you study.

Like in our subject in Multimedia Arts Business I think using Adobe Bridge for the first time is hard but when you understand and study how to use this Bridge you can easily to access it, and easily to manage it even if you used it for the first time. The changes happen to me is that managing my folders and files in Bridge in a organize manner not in your desktop or documents that sometimes just finding your files is so hard to locate.

Adjusting to many changes in our life is first difficult but when you easily understand it well you will just realize that it easy. And at the same time changes has a big part in our society because this is already modern time that’s why every single day it has a change that we need to cope up.

Adobe Bridge Transition

Using Adobe Bridge for organizing files is more easier than making many folder in your desktop or in your computer. Before when I didn't know Adobe Bridge I used to make many folders in my files and sometimes many folders inside a folder, so sometimes when I need to find a certain file its so hard to locate cause I need to open each folders just to find that file.

But using Adobe Bridge, you can easily manage and organize your file in a neat way of managing your folders. And also by using Adobe Bridge you can easily see the information of each photos you put in your Adobe Bridge. There are different kinds of organizing your photos in Adobe Bridge, like using stacks because by using this stacks you can choose the same type of pictures and put it together in one without making a new folder in your files, cause for me making new folders again and again in a waste of time and your files will look mess. So as far as I've read our report we can used stacks to put together the same pictures into one. And also you can easily import it into Adobe Photoshop without opening your picture one by one.

So by using Adobe Bridge is much easier than making a lot of folders in your computer, by this you can save time and also you can save much of your effort to find files which is so hard to find. Because in Adobe Bridge you can easily organize, manage, and also edit your pictures you want.

Done with 1st year & Now 2nd year :))

Being an MMA student is a very challenging and interesting course compare to my past courses. I choose Multimedia Arts because I can enhance my skills even though at first I don't know how to use Photoshop. 

During my first semester being a MMA student, we have a lot of activities but at the same time while making our projects or other school works that's the time we bond a lot and know each other very well, and even if sometimes its hard to adjust being a irregular student and having a lot of major subjects of 1st year and 2nd year, I enjoyed being with them and gaining new knowledge on Photoshop. I can't forget the time in our Computer Graphics class with the MMA 2-1 before (MMA 3-1 today), during our Prelims exams I was crying that time because I don't know how to use and edit in Photoshop, because that time is the first time I used Photoshop.

And also I enjoy being a MMA student because there's a lot of nice and real friends compare to my past schools. And also being a irregular student is not that hard because you'll met a lot of friends that will help you in other subjects and will help you to learn how to use Photoshop.

And now a 2nd year mma student, I learn a lot of new things that I can use for my future works. I just need to love what I'm doing and enjoy working on them. But after 2 months of a long vacation is very hard for me because even my hand writing is not the same as before and also for this semester is very hard because of having only afternoon classes, and hopefully lazy would not tempt me. haha! :DD 

In short I love being a MMA Student and a part of CAS Family... Even if there's a lot of problems came into my life I can still handle it with the help of my friends. :)

Blog #8: New century

Contemporary Art is similar with the topic discuss last week which is Modern Art. Artist during this period used Expressionistic, Abstract Expressionist and many more which shows their emotions while doing their art works.

This is one of the artwork of contemporary art, this is the art work of Jackson Pollock, he is a abstract expressionist. I like his art work because it shows the emotion of Pollock while doing this art. In their architecture the artwork are influenced by nature. 

During this period they also used cubism, surrealism, Futurism, expressionism kind of artwork. Contemporary art used different kinds of style during their artwork. I appreciate their artwork during this period because it is more modern and until now we can see different kinds of artwork until now.

Blog # 7: Modern Art

Modern Art style is more on Romanticism, Neoclassicism, Impressionism, Realism, Post Impressionism and Expressionism. Their art is being influenced by Classicism. The artist during this time used unique kind of arts. 

As I have heard last Tuesday in their lecture, their art is broad to discuss because this period have different styles being used to discuss what kind of art is this. The artist before used their emotions to express their art to show new kinds of artworks. They also used symbols in their arts.

This is a example of a modern art, this is the Eiffel Tower which is located in Paris France. This is one of the most famous structure being done and for me this is the most beautiful art which is build during the 1887 to 1889. 

Blog #6: Arts Beyond west

Arts Beyond West is a broad topic because their art is a combination of different art works in the past reports. And it talks about the African and Chinese Art before. This period influence us Filipinos when it comes to our arts because some of their arts are quite familiar in our arts.

Their art is more on cultural, traditional when it comes in their art. And also there style is expressionism, figurative and representational. And this period we can get some information that we can used also in our arts today. Just like the ceramics before we can also do that and the art before during the ancient times influence us a lot in doing our arts today.

Blog # 5: Baroque Style of Art

Baroque Period is the continuation of the Renaissance and also their style is more on Naturalism and Classicism. There art is more colorful, and more classic compare to others.

Also Baroque covers a wide range of styles and artists. This period have five important characteristics which is motion, tension, drama, detail and grandeur. Also Baroque used a technique which is their style is kinda dramatic, and as you can see in there art their style is more unique and you can see the motion in the sculpture of David.

Their paintings evokes emotions and passion. And shows drama in each painting. This period is more unique compare to other style of art because it is more classic and shows emotions in each of their arts.

Blog #4: Renaissance Period

The Style during the Renaissance Period is Naturalism.


And we all know that their arts are famous until now, like the Mona Lisa of Leonardo d Vinci and many more which is very known until now. 

This is the Potrait of "Mona Lisa" which is being done by Leonardo de Vinci, and one of the most famous painting of him. And Also Mona Lisa is one of the mysterious painting of Art since the start of Arts history.


The Art of Renaissance period if quite similar to Classical Period and Christian Period era.

Blog #3: Christian Art

Christian Art for me is one of my favorite history because we can know who is christian during that time, and we can know how people take risk just to fight on what they believe. Which is even if there is many circumstances comes in their lives they will worship God even if it is forbidden during that time.

This Christian Arts focuses only on religious type of Arts which their art is more on Designs in their style in their church and structure of there church during that time. And also when Constantine became the leader he legalized Christianity and we Christians don't have any problems that time because we cannot hide ourselves to others, and until now it is being legal because it is our way of worshiping God our creator and be not ashamed of it.

BLOG Entry #2: Architecture of Greek & Rome

This was the first Art that I like and catches my eye due to the style of its architecture. Especially their uniqueness of style in each of their architecture. And also I like the Pillar style in the entrance of the building, even if its like old design but it is more beautiful than other design that I've seen compare to others.

Colosseum is also one of the most unique styled that I've seen. And for me a unique style of architecture came from Greek and Roman Style, because their architecture style is more unique and classy than the other styles. And even if I don't know much about architecture of Greek and Rome I appreciate their kind of styles that they made that make their Art more unique than others.
